【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandarddescribesasimpleclassificationsystemforcoalsproviding—guidanceontheselectionoftheappropriateISOstandardproceduresfortheanalysesandtestingofcoals,—internationalcomparisonofcoalsintermsofsomekeycharacteristics,—descriptivecategorizationofcoals.Thesystemisapplicabletocoalsofallranks,butcareisrequiredinrelationtotheclassificationofsometypesofcoal.Thesystemmaybeappliedtoawiderangeofrepresentativecoalsamples,providedtheirexactnatureisstated.Suchsamplesincludebore-coreseamsectionsandcompositesamples,raw(as-mined)coal,washedcoal,blendsofcoalsofsimilarrankandselected,specifiedsizefractions.Thesystemprovidesabroadframeworkwithinwhichcoalscanbeassessed.Theselectionofcoalsforaspecificuserequiresdetailedinformationthatenablesthelikelyperformanceofacoalinaparticularapplicationtobeanticipated.Thewide-ranginglistofISOanalysesandtestproceduresforcoalsservethispurpose.Theselectionoftheappropriateprocedurestobeusedinassessingacoaldependsontheintendeduse.
